Library of Facade seeks to question and challenge the public-private boundaries through a process of facade delamination. By 'distilling' the elements found on the street, a series of facades are created - each serving a different purpose in the architecture.
Taking inspiration from a non-profit named, FareStart - this project imagines itself as a public library that shares its space with a non-profit organization that recuperates the homeless and vulnerable, enabling them with vocational skills to get off the streets. The Library of Facades will be run by students and trainees of the program, creating a reciprocal relationship between architecture and the public.
